Formation is the process of deepening our commitment to become like Christ and to be equipped to carry out his will in our lives. This formation is ongoing and encompasses every aspect of human life. The goal of becoming like Christ is a movement from head to heart and eventually affects every sphere of our existence.
For at least nine months each year adults gather in Marian Hall on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm or Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am to learn more about the bible. For an hour we view a film that helps us uncover the story woven throughout Scripture so that we get the “big picture” of the Bible and understand what it is all about. The Bible is a story about the Father’s unfailing love for us—a love that we are called to share with others.
RCIA is a process of conversion and spiritual formation for individuals who are interested in living the Christian life in the Catholic tradition. For more information about the RCIA program at OLPH click here.
