Tonight we talked about Corporal Acts of Mercy, and we focused on two - feeding the hungry and caring for the homeless. We talked about whether we felt our parish was living Jesus' commands and how we might do better. The teens discussed their feelings that most people try to live these commands, but it is hard and how some don't live them at all. In the next week or two, each teen will be getting the name of a middle school student at a Baltimore Catholic school to buy a Christmas gift for. Please help them pick an appropriate gift. We will go to the Seminary in Baltimore on December 5 to wrap those gifts and have Mass with the Seminarians. Details to follow shortly. For those who cannot make that trip, we will try to go up the next weekend when the Seminarians give the gifts out. In this way, we can start to do as Jesus' commands us to do. Can you help your teen think of others who are unloved or uncared for in their life? How can they help them?
