Edge Nite

Tonight we talked about how Jesus called his disciples to care for those in need.  These act are called Corporal Acts of Mercy, and we focused on two - feeding the hungry and caring for the homeless. We talked about whether we felt our parish was living Jesus' commands and how we might do better.  In the next week or two, you will be getting the name of a middle school student at a Baltimore Catholic school to buy a Christmas gift for.  We will go to the Seminary in Baltimore in December to wrap those gifts.  In this way, we can start to do as Jesus' commands us to do.  Can you think of others who are unloved or uncared for in your life?  How can you help them?
