Synod 2021 - 2023

Pope Francis has called for a world-wide Synod to hear from the people in pews.  In order to hear what YOU would like to tell the Pope we will have Town Hall Meetings to discuss questions pertinent to Synod.  This is your opportunity to talk about the mission and direction of our church. Chose whichever date and time works best for you:

Sunday, November 14 - 11:45 am at Our Lady of Sorrows
Wednesday, November 17 - 7 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help 
Thursday, November 18 - 7 pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help (session held in Spanish)

Questions to think about prior to the meeting:

• What groups or individuals are left on the margins in our church?
• What are some limitations in our ability to listen, especially to those who have different views than our own?
• How do we promote the active participation of all the faithful in the liturgy?
• What areas of mission are we neglecting?
• What issues in the Church and society do we need to pay more attention to?
• How does our Church community form people to be more capable of walking together, listening to one another, participating in mission, and engaging in dialogue?
